$ 1.9 Trillion - Where's Our Piece of the Pie

This morning Congress authorized the printing of another $ 1,900,000,000 (that's Trillion with a capital "T") for the government to spend. It wouldn't be so bad if they didn't waste such a large percentage of it (how much we'll never know) but so much goes down the drain only moments after it comes off the presses. Freddie May and Fannie Mac were bailed out (pseudo-Govt agencies), Banks were bailed out, what about us, the common folk? It was the combination of Wall Street malfeasance and Government meddling and lack of oversight that created the meltdown in October of 2009. Yet it is us, the American taxpayer that is paying the bill (since what they are printing is our tax dollars) and we haven't seen a dime of it. Millions lost their jobs, houses and retirement accounts forever and the Wolves who created the problem just keep bailing themselves out. The Golden Rule our parents taught us has been change to "Those who have the gold make the rules". Thinks about it, 66% of legislators are lawyers, they are making the law for the rest of us, all those perks and loopholes are for them not us. Because we can't rely on OUR government to come to our aid in anyway (or even just to treat us fairly and with respect) we need to take care of ourselves and regaining control of your finances is the first step. Folks that is OUR $1.9 trillion dollars let's stand up and fight for it!
